Hey there!
I'M GEORGIE
My passion for providing practical training to up-skill disability sector workers has lead me to establishing McGRATH NURSING CONSULTANCY in 2017 followed by ADD ON SKILLS (formerly 'The Training Room') in 2018.
It was during my undergraduate training as an Assistant in Nursing on an inpatient Spinal Unit that I found my passion for Rehabilitation Nursing. Since graduating in 1993 I have held a variety of positions including Community Spinal Adviser, Spinal Cord Injuries Clinical Nurse Consultant, Nurse Unit Manager (Brain Injury Unit), Nurse Educator (Rehabilitation and Stroke Program), Case Manager/Care Coordinator and Team Leader for a large care provider - just to name a few!
With over 10 years experience working in a private practice and the community as a Disability & Rehabilitation Clinical Nurse Consultant, I have gathered multiple experiences that have enriched my practice along the way.
